About us

Run the job, not the office.

Every electrician we know does two jobs. The one they trained for, and the one that starts after the van is parked: quotes to write, invoices to chase, certificates to fill in, next week to schedule. The second job eats the evenings.

TradePals is one live record for the whole job: from the first enquiry, through the quote, the work on site, the certificate, the invoice and the payment. The office runs on the web, the field runs on the phone, and the whole team sees the same job at the same second.

We build it in the UK, around the standards you actually work to. Not software with a trade skin on it. A work tool.

Built to BS 7671

Certificates, testing and calculators grounded in the 18th Edition.

Quote, certificate, invoice and payment on one job record. The office runs on the web, the field runs on the phone, and the whole team works on the same job at the same second.

The tools electricians already use every day, plugged straight into the workflow. Wholesalers, accounting, calendars and more, so the job record talks to the rest of the business on its own.

Paperwork by voice, anywhereIn the works

We are making the software fluid, so the right action is never more than a sentence away. A smart watch companion is in the works: speak to your watch or phone on the tools and the certificate, the test schedule or whatever the job needs documenting writes itself in the background.

Partnered with the industryThe goal

We are seeking to partner with the governing bodies, so the industry always has software that keeps up with technology, stays simple to use and never breaks the bank.

Where this ends up is simple. TradePals becomes the industry's standard software: the place where the trade's work is recorded, certified and paid, connected to the suppliers and accountants it already runs on, and recognised by the bodies that set its standards. In the field it fades into the background. Work gets spoken, documented and paid without anyone sitting down to do admin. Every release closes the gap between doing the work and having it on record, and the price stays low enough that no firm is ever priced out of working this way.
